Barrier-free stops, visible bicycle paths, and easily identifiable roundabouts improve mobility and safety for all road users.
Our Mission
JoBe Lighting provides orientation with marker lights in public spaces. Our lighting installations increase the attractiveness and safety of public transport, bicycle traffic, and road traffic.
Barrier-free stops with recognizable danger edges, visible bicycle paths, and easily identifiable roundabouts and traffic islands improve mobility, the cityscape, and safety for all road users.
JoBe Paver Lights Guidance
- Concrete and natural-stone faces integrate seamlessly into paving.
- Color options to match the surface: concrete grey, basalt, granite, porphyry, sandstone.
- Glare-free optical design at just 0.6 W — suitable for the visually impaired.
- Robust, fully potted body — can be compacted together with the paving.
- Slip-resistant surfaces.
- Drive-over capable up to 10 km/h and wheel loads up to 6 t.
- Permanently waterproof to IP68 (up to 1 m).
- Simple installation in any sub-base — retrofit-friendly.
- 12 V supply cable laid in the bedding layer.
- Weather-independent pre-assembly of light strings in the workshop.
- Autonomous installations with solar panel and battery are easy to implement.
JoBe Road Studs Marker Lights
- Variants to fit the use case — solar-powered or 12 V wired.
- Low spill light with uni/bi-directional optics focused along the driving direction.
- Wheel-load ratings from 30 t to 160 t.
- Snowplow-resistant models for traffic lanes.
- Integrated sensors; control via LoRaWAN or wired controller with standard interfaces.
- Programmable quiet hours (e.g., 23:00–05:00) to protect night-time peace.
- High-power LEDs visible even in daylight.
- Replaceable light modules.
- Simple core-drill installation in asphalt and concrete/paver surfaces.
- Optional delivery as pre-wired light strings.
The use of tactile guidance systems and dropped kerbs helps white-cane users and wheelchair users improve mobility and social participation. In addition to around 300,000 blind people and 1.5 million wheelchair users in Germany, by 2030 a further ~7.7 million age-related visually impaired people* will face increasing orientation challenges.
Even in daylight, the color design of paving, tactile tiles and kerbs is often not sufficient to make hazard edges and guiding lines clearly visible. People with impaired vision and older citizens need strong contrasts to orient themselves and perceive hazards quickly.
Our solution: JoBe Paver Lights: with color-matched housings and glare-free light bands, retrofit safety and attractiveness directly into paving systems.

Infrastructural Safety
Visual clutter in city centers and limited power supply in rural areas create multiple, often competing requirements for road and traffic planners.
Intuitive, quickly perceived road geometry and markings are key to safety and to optimizing maintenance budgets. With JoBe Paver Lights and JoBe Road Studs, you can make lanes, cycle paths, roundabouts, and traffic islands clearly legible.
Using LED paver lights at ground level and directional studs aligned with the driving direction significantly improves lane recognition.
JoBe Paver Lights
The prewired light band can then be delivered to the construction site ready for installation. Simply lay the light band, cover the 12 V cable with bedding material, and you're done. When paving, the light integrates perfectly into the stone pattern and can be compacted using a rubber plate or mallet.
JoBe Road Studs
Wired Road Studs additionally require a slot for the supply cable, similar to inductive loops for traffic lights. Upon request, we pre-assemble the 12 V supply lines in protective conduits between the Road Studs and deliver a fully installable light string.
