Parking Spaces

In historic city centers and other sensitive areas, white parking space markings can be visually distracting on often elaborately designed surfaces. To avoid such visual disturbances, ground markings are often created using contrasting colored paving stones.

Even during the day, these lines are difficult to see, but at night they are often completely ineffective. However, with the minimal parking space widths in these core areas, inaccurate parking leads to the adjacent parking space becoming unusable and to the loss of up to 25% of the total parking space.

By marking the sides with five to six stones or just a single luminous stone at the front edge, parking spaces can be clearly marked at night like no other marking method. During the day, however, the built-in stones remain virtually invisible thanks to the natural stone-like surface of “NATURE” or the targeted dust retention of “STYLE,” leaving the cityscape completely unaffected!

Our lighting solution provides significantly greater safety, orientation, and visual calm in parking areas. Along driveways and rows of parking spaces, the luminaires integrated into the ground provide clear accents that intuitively guide users and make the entire parking lot layout easier to navigate.

The illumination of trip hazards is particularly effective: curbs, height differences, or boundary elements are made visible without dazzling or visually overwhelming the space. This creates a harmonious, permanently reliable level of safety – especially in the evening and night hours.

Traffic islands around parking barriers or ticket machines are also protected by the striking but unobtrusive line of light. The luminaires emphasize the structure of the facility, prevent unwanted collisions, and make it easier for drivers to correctly position themselves.

The solution thus combines safety, orientation, and aesthetic appeal – and creates clear added value for operators and users in parking areas.
