Illuminated stone in the wet paving of a plaza in front of a lit building at night

Lines of light structure the plaza at night without flooding it.

The planning problem

Due to more sophisticated leisure activities, the increasing quality of public infrastructure, and our demands for high-quality urban design, expectations for attractive lighting are also growing. The increasing use of lighting designers clearly confirms this development.

In many places, however, these efforts are limited to illuminating buildings and decorative paving. Comprehensive illumination is often neither desirable nor affordable. “Sculptural” luminaires can only partially meet this need because they are usually expensive to purchase and large areas for gatherings and events often need to remain barrier-free.

Paver Lights offer you the opportunity to completely restructure your squares and paths at night with luminous lines and spatial boundaries, to frame meeting places and public furniture with inviting light, and to show your passers-by safe and barrier-free paths.

In more remote areas that previously could not be illuminated for cost reasons, Paver Lights increase actual and perceived safety and thus increase citizen satisfaction. In addition to the colors Crystal, Blue and Amber there are luminaire bodies in stone colors such as Granite Grey, Porphyry Red and Sand Beige, as well as in White, that blend in unobtrusively in your areas during the day.

Installation in three steps.

  1. Set the light into the bedding

The light is laid next to the last paving stone as the paving progresses, with the cable in the sand bed.

  2. Connect electrically

All lights are connected in parallel to the low-voltage main line, which an LED driver supplies.

  3. Grout and compact

The light is grouted with the surrounding paving. Compacting uses a rubber apron after thorough sweeping.
