Public transport stops and platforms
- Beckstone LED Paver Light
Paver Lights show edges and routes in the paving of the stop.
The planning problem
Curbs at bus and train stops pose a particular accident risk for older people and those with impaired vision. Fall protection is key. Paver Lights as orientation assistance help recognize distances to the sidewalk surface even in snowfall.
How light in the ground improves accessibility

Dangerous edges
The multitude of signs and other visual stimuli makes public traffic areas increasingly confusing. Hazards for pedestrians and drivers are clearly marked exactly where they occur: directly on the ground!

Monument protection
Paver Lights offer the opportunity to highlight nighttime hazards without detracting from the historical appearance of your cityscape in daylight.

Recommendation
Paver Lights
For paved stops and platforms: the light sits in the paving pattern and traces the edge and the guidance line.
Also possible
Road Studs
Where the bus bay or the access is asphalt, Road Studs mark the edge in the surface.

All lights are connected in parallel to the low-voltage main line, which an LED driver supplies.
Grout and compact
The light is grouted with the surrounding paving. Compacting uses a rubber apron after thorough sweeping.
